• Description: The goal of the Butte County Maternal Child and Adolescent Health (MCAH) nurses is that all children be born healthy to healthy mothers regardless of the racial/ethnic, economic or regional status of the family. A prenatal care and guidance phone program, and a maternal/child health telephone information line are offered. Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (CPSP), Breastfeeding Support for New Mothers, Prenatal Care Guidance Program (PCG), are all programs of Maternal and Child Health.
